Iiro is an independent Android app that continues to evolve through real-world use, testing and feedback. This page collects meaningful production updates and verified places where Iiro has appeared around the web.
Google Play production, 18 August 2026. Full-screen map, timing information on the map, sharper graphics and reliability improvements.
Open the Android map in full screen with the ⛶ control.
Show timing information for A, B and intermediate stops without changing the ETA calculation.
Map rendering was adjusted for clearer, sharper graphics.
Improvements included GPS, map behaviour, trip-start reliability and overall stability.
The current production viewer includes a full-screen map, T time and status labels, improved A/B overlap handling, OpenStreetMap attribution, a dynamic scale and local A/a controls for T-label size from 50% to 500%.
The follower still needs only the private tracking link and a compatible browser.
Iiro v1.91.09 moved the app from testing into public production. The core flow was already in place: plan → ETA → start → private link → browser following.
The current production baseline refined the map, time labels, viewer clarity and reliability.
On 2 August 2026, Android Planet selected Iiro as item 3 of 5 in its week 31 roundup of interesting new Android apps and games. The article accurately described route planning, stops and breaks, ETA, encrypted sharing and browser following without a recipient app or account.
These Dutch sites redistributed the Android Planet article. They add web visibility, but they are not separate independent Iiro reviews. Android Planet remains the original source.
Softonic created its own Iiro description, giving additional search and category visibility. Its displayed Paid / Full metadata has been incorrect, so Iiro does not use Softonic as a pricing source.
Iiro is indexed under the correct package fi.iiroapp.android. Google Play remains the official install and update channel.
CNET Download lists Iiro on a third-party software discovery page. The page has been observed with the disclosures “AI Assisted Content” and “Not written by CNET Staff”, so this is catalog/discovery visibility, not a CNET staff editorial review.
